16. Biology is much more than that. You explained what life is but not what the discipline of biology is about. Biology is a very broad field that has so many sub disciplines like neurobiology, ecology, biophysics, microbiology or systematics, only to name a few. Biology wants to know a lot of things ranging from very small scales like molecules or cells towards very large ones like ecosystems. It does not only want to know what life is.
