Turmeric has to be taken with freshly ground black pepper for full absorption. Taking a cup of golden milk every day is a good idea. I've just started taking a level teaspoon of turmeric with 1/8th teas black pepper in a large glass of water first thing recommended to be taken for a year to get rid of all sorts of problems. I know it's great for back pain and any inflammation, also 1 & 1/2 teas a day has cured breast cancer..
