  1. Oo life definition
Life can eat and survive moves around and do not need a host to live and van reproduce without a host as well as haveing cells 1-multiple

  2. My bio professor at the school I currently attend is trash. I was trying to find some way to get better acquainted with biology because it is my major and I need to at least have bio101 down. I am going to be transferring schools after this class so I’m glad I found this.

  3. Sir, thank you very much for posting this. I have learned a lot just by watching your video. I also took the important details on my notes so that I can review it. You are such an amazing professor just like my biology prof when I was in grade 12 who can explain everything in detailed and examples. By the way I am from the Philippines and I am having a college entrance exam this May 😭 Thank you again Sir for the series of video you've made for biology. I am currently watching them 😇

  4. There are strands of RNA that can fold themselves and behave like proteins, so it's likely the first self-replicating molecules were simple strands of RNA that happened after just the correct kind of chemical reaction happened, and that self-replicating molecule replicated over and over producing some mistakes and after enough time, some of them also produce other proteins as well like maybe some little gell. Just kind of sticks around like moss and doesn't do anything even though it's not a cell wall, it will still protect the cell because it's a partial barrier.

A couple of those proteins May have mutations and stuff that causes at 2 then be even better and maybe eventually they evolved in a way that causes it to become a cell wall. Now the chance of them being able to divide with a cell wall is even slimmer so now the next step is try to figure out how to divide correctly because the ones that get to Steph and protective and durable end up not being able to reproduce so only the weak ones can reproduce, and eventually some mutations happen to help the strong ones divide easier and it just goes from there.

  5. just watching…
I'm a BS Biology student and Im eager to know all about Life. That's why I took this course.
    Anyways, I love this lesson.
I'm looking forward for more of your vedios.

  6. This dude is a very talented teacher 🙂 You can feel his enthusiasm through his words and his teaching is very easy to learn from, ..I find 🙂 it's rare to find!

  7. Hey, love the lectures and appreciate posting them. Listened to this one around 4 times, I wanted to ask, you said Ribosomes are an Organelle but I thought they were macromolecules made up of RNA and proteins?

  8. Hello professor
In your lecture today you mentioned you are from San Diego. WHAT A consistent. I live in SD and love your lectures and i really need to take this class. My question is do you teach this class in any SD community colleges?

  9. Thank you so much for this lesson. I use it to home school my child. At this rate we can achieve college degrees through YouTube University. Bad news for some institutions. XD
