  1. I live in Brooklyn, NYC, and it's a bit of a weird time here now as I'm sure it is everywhere. But it's great to end the work-from-home day cooking one of your meals. My girlfriend and I have been cooking them for months. All of the meals that I like from your videos, I transcribe onto my phone, and now I have a couple of dozen of them stored up. Thanks for all you guys have done all these years and thanks for posting these videos even at times like these. I'll be at the market tomorrow buying ingredients for this.

  2. my first time tuning in, good recipe. I could listen to you two just read a phone book, actually, lovely discovery seeing how you teach. thanks.

  3. I made this today omg! Yummmmmmmy it definitely tastes like minestrone soup, what I want to know is, do you have or want to share your sourdough bread recipe, 🙁 coz I'm having troubles with mine 😕 thanks

  4. As tasty as the recipe is, please please avoid using the misleading term immune "boosting" just to catch people's attention during the C-19 pandemic! No foods, vitamins and diets actually 'boost' your immune system, but rather "support" or "supplement" whatever's already in your diet.
In fact, too much "boosting" of the immune system can be harmful, for example look at auto-immune diseases where your defence systm actually attacks your own body! It's all about balance.
Instead of anxiously and panic-ly eating lots of these foods, it's more important to exercise regularly and to have a balanced diet!
Stay safe everyone and look after each other!

  5. Just made this and it is absolutely comforting, delicious, and hearty … we all need a soup like this in these trying times to help us heal. Bless you.

  6. Made a big version of this just cleaning out the fridge of fresh veggies plus some canned beans. Was concerned about the lack of seasoning except the Tamari and black pepper but it’s amazingly delicious!

  7. Deliciously tasty and healthy minestrone, love it, and for me the final touch would be a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, being italian (and vegan for 8 years). In Dublin.

  8. Going to make this tomorrow as they are expecting it to be a dark rainy Sunday … Thanks for yet another amazing recipe. Love to everyone out there; let's be kind to one and other, stay indoors, stay safe.

  9. 2 med onions, 2 garlic add to pan. Add thinly chopped carrots x 2, pinch of salt, 2 leeks chopped, broccoli, add few tbsps veg stock to deglaze if needed. Add 5tbsps broth, add lid and sweat/ simmerfor 10 mins. Drain tinned black eyed beans, green lentils and chickpeas. Add to pan. Add broccoli and kale. 150g wholemeal pasta. Add 2 litres veg stock. 100g tomato puree, tamari 2tbsps, jar passata or 2 tins chopped tomatoes. Simmer for 10/15 mins. Taste and season to palette. Add pepper, dash of lemon. Serve with chilli flakes and sourdough. Xox

  10. I predict when this pandemic is over people will have lost weight. People are forced to cook at home again and not eat out especially no fast food.

  11. Stay safe, everyone!
If you can get the ingredients, maybe now is the time to try some of those more time consuming recipes you usually don't get around to making? At least that's my plan…
