I'm not a medical student. I however notice that only one chromosome; paternal or maternal in the nucleus of the macrophage cell was selected and remained active throughout this process. what is the role of the other remaining chromosome in this regard? I also notice that two genes at the nucleus of the lymphocyte are stimulated and activated to respond. Does this also happen in a single chromosome or both?
I'm a facilitator and I work a lot with the community on Hiv. I find this so instrumental and enjoyable and i follow step by step.
